| WHO WE ARE Lori Rutter is President of Adviza Consulting which she founded in 2004 after creating, building and selling a 35 person consulting firm. Lori has 20 years of experience in the nonprofit, private, and public sectors. Her professional focus is on entrepreneurial approaches to managing organizational growth and change. She has a strong background in management team development, strategic planning, and board governance. Lori has a Masters degree in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard and a BA from Harvard College. In addition, Lori has held leadership positions for the Harvard Alumni Association and the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. She currently sits on several nonprofit boards and boards for several privately held companies. She has chaired board committees and has worked with companies and boards through leadership transitions. Jeff Behrens is a principal at Adviza Consulting. Jeff is an
experienced entrepreneur with substantial business and nonprofit
leadership experience and is currently Director, Strategic Alliances
at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. Previously, he was a co-founder and head
of business operations at Biogen Idec's Innovation Incubator (BI3). He
founded The Telluride Group, inc., an IT managed services provider, in
1995 and sold the company in 2003. His background includes business
development and alliances, M&A, fundraising, finance, and general
corporate management and governance. Jeff has a BA from Harvard
College, an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a Masters in
Biomedical Enterprise from the Harvard/MIT Division of Health Sciences
and Technology (HST; a joint program of MIT and Harvard Medical
School). Jeff has held a number of community leadership positions with
a range of organizations including Harvard-Startups, Young
Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), Harvard Magazine, and the Museum of
Science. |
